Bare Bones Wax “5 Records for Feb”
Part of a new regular feature on the blog is “5 records for” which showcases records that are big for various artists. Kicking off are label and blog owners of Bare Bones Wax (David Moran & Louis Hughes) who pick some of the records we can currently find in their bag.
The tracks in the video are:
- Flaze “Pleasure” is taken from the “Pleasure EP” on Bare Bones Wax. The EP also includes the excellent “Back Again” as well as two remixes from Ruff Stuff and Craig Hamilton.
- Lil’ Mark “Make U Feel Project” (original mix) taken from the “Make U Feel Project” EP on Finger Prince. The excellent debut also includes remixes from Rob Mello, Pale People and Bart Ricardo.
- Al Bradley “Somewhere In The Frozen North” is taken from his new album “Little Treasures” on his 3:AM mainstay. It is one of 9 belting tracks.
- Acid Jerks featuring Mikey V “Atomic” (Boogs & Ben Silver remix) is taken from the same namesake EP that includes the excellent original mix and a second remix from ADMN. They appear on Aussie label, Refuge.
- Detroit Boogie Assemble “Feelings” (Mix 1) is taken from the “Feelings” EP on GOAT Series. There are two other original tracks as well as a second mix of Feelings on the release.
