We are pleased to reveal the first release from a new vinyl label and blog. Bare Bones Recordings are a purveyor of all things Deep House, and BBW001 is a Various Artists EP with individual tracks from four excellent artists. The idea is to showcase the various styles the label will put out with future releases.

Up first is Entrepot head honcho UC Beatz with “Dullness” which portrays a classic deep house sound, with a modern twist. Former Ruff Stuff member Flaze offers “Forty” that simply destroys dancefloors with an almost Techno feel. Fresh from recent releases on Burnski’s Aesthetic and North Wales label Floorpiece, Adam Nahalewicz’s track “Out There” is a deep minimalist workout. The final track from Slur “Uncaged” keeps the emphasis firmly on an underground tip with a real DJ weapon.

All tracks mastered by Rob Small and the relase is distributed by Vinyl Future.  The full release will be 7th March but we have some advanced copies available on the buy tab above. Track previews below:

UC Beatz is a Brussels born and based DJ, producer and label owner. Through the years, he made a name for himself in the House scene with his releases on his own Entrepôt Records, as well as on highly respected international imprints such as Razor-N-Tape, Classic Music Company and 803 Crystal Grooves to name a few. Last year saw the release of his first album which received tremendous support from the public and so the physical copies were sold out in a week. On top of that his acclaimed Untitled Track 10-11 EP was re-pressed for the second time in a row due to overwhelming demand. UC Beatz shows no sign of slowing down with new exciting releases and gigs scheduled for 2021 and beyond lockdowns permitting.

Flaze is an Italian born dj/producer who grew up in the South of Italy where he was exposed to a variety of underground beats from an early age. The electronic sound – specifically techno – were his beats of choice from the early ‘90s; paving the way for his future career and artistic growth. His live début at the decks came in 1995; he started out DJ’ing at parties and subsequently he joined the Studio One Radio team participating in their popular house night.

In 2013 he joined forces with his old hometown friend Nanni, creating Ruff Stuff and the connected label Ruff Stuff Music Ltd, with the intent of spinning a more raw and groovy sound. As Ruff Stuff he has released tunes on different labels, such as Shabby Doll Records, Silence in Metropolis, Rough Recordings, Rarehouse Records, King Street Sounds, RM Records UK, Cahoots Records, Quality Vibe Records, and more, gaining support from Marco Carola, Laurent Garnier, T.Williams, B. Traits, Marco Faraone, Javi Bora, Roger Sanchez, Ben Sims, Black Loops, Cinthie and more…

Adam Nahalewicz hails from North Wales but moved to Manchester to further his music career. A DJ for 10 years, he started playing regularly for the Manipulate brand alongside dj’s such as Sasha, Ralph Lawson and Yousef. The logical progression for Adam was to take the natural step into music production, which he has now been doing for almost five years.

Having honed his talent, Adam has already had a number of vinyl releases out on respected labels such as Burnski’s Aesthetic, Horay and the new Manchester label Distinct. Gaining great acclaim his tracks have made their way into popular sets with DJs such as Gescu and Arapu at the mighty Sunwaves as well as other respected names supporting his music. With many more releases in the pipeline and DJ gigs starting to come in now lockdown is coming to an end, Adam is going to be a name to watch out for in 2022.

Slur is a DJ / Producer who keeps the emphasis on Underground electronic music!
