Flaze – Brigade EP
To kick off the blog we thought why not start with a review of one of our favourite records released so far this year. Coming on the mighty Entrepôt Records, Flaze was a name that was new to us turns out he is an original member of Ruff Stuff. The Italian DJ & Producer is now pursuing a solo career with this being his first outing as a solo artist and what a debut it is! The release boasts 4 varied tracks of Deep House music with title track Brigade pumping along with tough beats and lovely synth work intertwined over jacking percussion. New Horizons takes a slightly more laid-back funky approach. Dedicated is a more classic vocal Deep House jam while The Sun Suddenly is an uplifting disco workout.
There is a reason vinyl sold out within a week but the good news is there is a repress of 150 copies on the way. You can pre order now at Deejay.de if you want to support the vinyl.
